Venues
Danversport Yacht Club weddings can take place at one of the three locations at this waterfront wedding venue. Each is elegant and versatile and includes the beloved waterfront. Everyone also includes an outdoor wedding ceremony area and mingling area for guests. The club offers catering services, a big menu, and many different wedding packages: premium dinner packages, especially appetizers, featured cocktails, dessert stations, and late-night snacks.
The three different locations are:
The Harborview Ballroom: This is the largest event space and can hold up to 650 guests. It has stunning waterfront views.
The Terrace Ballroom and Waterfront Room: This classic ballroom holds up to 200 guests, and 300 guests if paired with the Waterfront Room.
The Lighthouse Point: This is geared towards smaller weddings and can hold up to 90 guests. It includes a private dining room with a dance floor and courtyard.
On-Site Ceremonies Options
The Danversport Yacht Club wedding ceremony locations offer a gorgeous views of the harbor. The ceremony includes set up and break down, a wedding coordinator, rehearsal, garden chairs, ceremony time, and an optional refreshments station.
There are three options for an on-site ceremony:
Pergola: Behind the waterfalls and gardens lies the Pergola ceremony site. With the arbor as a gorgeous backdrop, this is a picture-perfect spot to say your vows.
Gazebo: Overlooking the Porter River is the gazebo ceremony site. Enjoy the garden and waterfront views
Inside: If you prefer an indoor option, many of the reception sites can also be converted into a ceremony location.

The History of Danversport Yacht Club
Joseph DeLorenzo started out as a sheet metal fabricator and began his career as an entrepreneur. In the 1970s he started his own metal fabrication company called Del-West, Inc. He had always wanted to build a huge dance hall where people could gather and have a good time, and such the seeds were planted for Danversport Yacht Club.
Joe and his wife Barbara bought the 19 acres in 1969 and despite being on a tight budget, was able to create a beautiful masterpiece, while still being resourceful. A year later, on December 6, 1970 was the grand opening of the Danversport Yacht Club where there was dancing, dining, and cocktails with the whole community along the harbor.
Flash forward to now, and it is still as beautiful as when it was first built, with many different types of events being hosted. From weddings to birthday celebrations, it is a classic and timeless venue.
