Hi, Mark here.
I’ve been a documentary wedding photographer for 20 years — which is a fancy way of saying I show up, I take candid photos, and I let your day be your day.
I spent nearly two decades shooting weddings across Boston and New England before moving to Sarasota. Same approach, new coastline.
No stiff poses. No coached laughs. No forced wedding party lineups. Most of the day I won’t direct you at all, because the best moments aren’t the ones I set up. They’re the ones I catch: your partner losing their place mid-vows, your mom grabbing your dad’s hand during the ring exchange, your flower girl spinning in circles during cocktail hour.
I love a good story. I really love a packed dance floor. And somewhere over the last two decades I figured out that the best way to capture both is to get out of the way.
I’m based in Sarasota and photograph weddings across the Gulf Coast and beyond. My work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings and Brides, and I’ve been recognized by the Wedding Photojournalist Association as a Top 100 Wedding Photographer.
“As a wedding professional, I’ve worked alongside Mark at countless weddings. When it came to my own wedding, I knew without a doubt that I wanted Mark to capture it.
Most couples book 12–18 months out, especially for popular spring and fall weekends along the Gulf Coast and in New England. If your date is sooner, reach out anyway — I sometimes have last-minute availability.
Yes. I specialize in hybrid photo and video coverage — alongside the photos I capture short highlight films that bring back the movement and sound of your day, without needing a full video team.
You’ll see a handful of preview images within a week. Full galleries are delivered within two weeks of your wedding.
Natural, warm, true-to-life tones that feel timeless, not trendy.
Absolutely. I’m based in Sarasota but cover the entire Gulf Coast and travel for weddings beyond Florida — including back to Boston and New England, where I shot for nearly two decades.
If you’d rather celebrate your day than choreograph it, let’s talk.
