A Wedding at The Jones River Trading Posts
As a Boston wedding photographer with over 15 years of experience, I've documented countless wedding celebrations. Elise and Sean's wedding at the Jones River Trading Post in Kingston, MA, was a special day filled with warmth, joy, and genuine emotion. In this blog post, I'm excited to share the highlights of their day and the incredible atmosphere surrounding it.
How They Met and the Proposal
Elise and Sean first crossed paths at their local gym, where they both secretly harbored crushes on one another. After becoming Facebook friends and liking each other's photos, they finally met in person at a party in Amherst, MA. Bumping into each other that night felt like fate, as they instantly connected, and their chemistry was undeniable.
The Proposal
On August 21, 2020, during their 5th annual Saco River trip, Sean proposed to Elise in front of their friends. After a heartfelt toast acknowledging the year's challenges, Sean knelt and asked Elise to marry him. Overwhelmed with emotion and happiness, Elise accepted, and they spent the next hour calling their family and friends to share the exciting news. Their friends captured the unforgettable proposal on video, which they will cherish forever.
Getting Ready
The wedding day began with Elise and her bridesmaids getting ready at an Airbnb located at 49 Ocean Road N, Duxbury, MA, while Sean and his groomsmen prepared for the day in Rockland, MA. This created the perfect opportunity for candid getting-ready wedding photos.
